Qantas returned the aircraft to Boeing in 1986, and a few months later, PEOPLExpress received it bearing the registration N609PE. Initially, this aircraft was ordered by Qantas under the registration VH-EBE. N614FF is a Boeing 747-238B which operated with Tower Air from the 20th of July, 1994, to the 3rd of February, 1997, when it was leased out to Continental Micronesia and scrapped sometime around 2010.
